These places are going to be open seasonally. Called “Graveyard Golf,” you’ll be putting around in a dark room with glow-in-the-dark obstacles. Why it’s unique: This is the only putt putt course on this list located in a pumpkin patch – and it’s the biggest pumpkin patch around. While you’re there, try out this Vala’s scavenger hunt and these five tasty treats. Note: Open seasonally, even though it’s indoors.

There are more than 40 dinosaurs at Prehistoric Putt, as well as a volcano and a foosball obstacle. Look for the pirate ship and the spring-loaded cannon to fire off your golf ball. Why it’s unique: If you love all-things-pirately, the two 18-hole courses at Pirate Putt are for you. Where: 1718 Madison Ave., Council Bluffs, Iowa Medieval Putt is challenging and contains obstacles like a zip line and foam pit. Why it’s unique: This course has a medieval theme with dragons and castles. Where: 20915 Cumberland Drive, Elkhorn, Neb.
